Overview

Ubud is Bali’s cultural heart, surrounded by rice fields, rivers and village temples. This private tour brings together the area’s best-known sights in one relaxed day. You walk among the long-tailed macaques in the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, take photos on the green terraces of Tegalalang, cool off at a waterfall such as Tegenungan or Tibumana, and visit a temple such as Tirta Empul, known for its holy spring water.

The car is only for your group, and your driver doubles as a tour assistant who helps with tickets, photos and a good lunch stop. The order of stops is flexible, so you can stay longer at a favourite place or swap a stop for Ubud market or a coffee break. From South Bali the drive to Ubud takes around 1–1.5 hours, depending on traffic. The tour suits first-time visitors, couples and families with an easy to moderate amount of walking.
